CREATIVE DIRECTION FOR ESME EMERSON
This concept was developed through an exploration of Esme and Emerson’s shared memories as siblings navigating their dual identity. We wanted to play with stereotyped ideas around cultural identity and gender with costume. The viewer is invited to see their world through a child’s eyes to explore the act of dressing up and performing identity. The set was designed to be an obvious fabrication that was inspired by their memories of their Grandparent’s house.
I directed the shoot, made bespoke custom hand painted outfits as well as designed the set. It was shot by Nick Ilot.
CREATIVE DIRECTION: SHORT FILM
This is a short film that I directed, filmed and edited myself. I styled the costume as well as the set and the stills were taken by Nick Illot. It was made in-between lock downs, and explores the confused feelings experienced during lock down and the decline in mental health in many people brought on by the fear and isolation. The film explores a short journey of the central character from indulging in the freedom of being limited to do nothing, followed by a slow unravelling in peace, brought on by boredom and loneliness.
CREATIVE DIRECTION FOR LA LLAMA
I founded La Llama in 2017, aged 23, with the aim to creative a unique, flamboyant aesthetic and advocate slow and ethical consumption of clothing. I designed all the clothes, created the textile prints from my drawings and paintings as well as the set designs and production for the photoshoots. The fabrics and garments are printed in London and made up to order by seamstresses in Norfolk and London. La Llama has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Tatler, Marie Claire, The Telegraph, The Independent, The Evening Standard, Who What Wear, Refinery 29, and The Daily Mail.

CREATIVE DIRECTION FOR EMMA SAMPSON
I produced and directed the music video which is currently being edited. I also created 2 different large painted sets and bespoke costume. The themes of the shoot were exploring the concept of being trapped into performing different characters.
